A full-tang 1060 high-carbon steel blade leads the specification for Golden Lightning. Brushed gold-tone lines run across the hand-painted solid-wood saya like lightning, while smaller floral details soften the bold mounting. The sword measures approximately 40.55 in / 103 cm overall, with a 27.95 in / 71 cm blade and a 10.63 in / 27 cm handle. Black ray-skin handle panels and a coordinated sageo complete the mounting. The blade is processed through more than ten traditional stages, including annealing, quenching and tempering.
